Meadowbrook Fall Festival 2010

Conquering the obstacle course with his buddy William and his student helper Nick.

Hayride, speaks for itself.

Good shot of the pumpkin shirt they made with Mrs. Brown (K5 teacher).

The shooting ranges, which Jonathan did surprisingly well considering he was not actually looking at the targets when he shot!

Jousting with giants...he was paired up with a 4th grader.

Jonathan and Nick doing the ring toss. The school pairs up the K5-3 graders with some of the junior high kids to take the pressure off of split families and families with multiple children. It also helps to foster some school unity and help the kids get to know each other better.

Nick did great with Jonathan! He and all of his friends cheered Jonathan on at the pinewood derby as well.

Pumpkin Plinko was the booth that the Jonathan's classroom did this year and that it what we made the awesome scarecrow for!

The finished product!

Pine Wood Derby

Third place ribbon for most creative car!!

The most awesome car ever (until next year).

The 'Blue Cobra' is winning again!! Some of the older kids named Jonathan's car for him.

Adding the finishing touches.

A little paint goes a long way, but a TON of paint goes even further!

The sanding lasted all of 5 minutes tops.

Both of the boys had a lot of fun building this car and it was a great experience for all of us.

Halloween weekend

We only had a few trick-or-treater's but I think Jonathan had more fun handing out candy than he had when he was collecting it!

Trick-or-treat at the mall with some friends, long lines and only about 15 pieces of candy...the kids didn't mind, but us adults were bummed cuz we get the candy.
It was so much fun to see all of the different costumes!

Our clown flowers from the farm.

We went to a Harvest Day at a friend's cousin's brother's uncle's farm. They had all kinds of stuff for the kids and it was a pretty fun day. Killer iced lemonaide, which was nice with our 90 degree day!

I am all set on the farm trips for the year!
