Updates on Life

The weather was so cold that Chris had to come home last night!!!! Well below zero with the wind chill and he is working out side in all of it.

So, no new pics but I just wanted to update those of you following. Chris is now working 7 days a week on midnights...yuck! He is handling it really well and I am so proud of him. His work ethic and reliability are so wonderful. I find that each time I think 'I really am starting to know this guy' he does something amazing and I learn something new. That, for me, is the best part about us. I love it when we are having dinner and I see a new expression on his face or he tells a story from when he was young that I have never heard. OK, so that is enough of the sappy stuff!

On to work...Chris found a posting for a job with the company he is currently working for that is located down in Florida! It is only about an hour away from Jonathan and right by the ocean!!! This job starts Feb. 27th so it would be perfect...he will be working before he gets laid off up here. He emailed the guy his info and got the phone number and plans on giving the boss down there a call today. I am so excited for him! Of course I will miss him, but it will only be temporary, as soon as the house sells I will join him down there.

The daycare is going well! The new girls have adjusted very well and I love their family! Then Eli and Jacob start in just a couple of weeks so I will have a baby around. I love that!

Well off to the grocery store in all the cold weather...gotta have warm soup!

After being scowled at from across the room, I was immediately informed that clothes were not an appropriate Christmas present. Then of course, I was compelled to let him keep opening presents until he got a toy! Hmmmm, who has me figured out?

Parks, parks and more parks

It was so great to see how much Jonathan's confidence had grown since we were last in Florida. He was running around, jumping over, crawling up/under/around everything possible and he was loving it! There was not a bit of hesitation when he came to the "big stuff", it was awesome! I must have lost at least 5 lbs just chasing after them trying to get a couple of good pics. It was a blast for all of us and we discovered some very cool parks!

We all had great fun adding a few more decorations to the tree and opening presents with Grammy and Grampa (on the phone, but none the less there)!
